November 3rd is the whole ball game. Between now and then we are knocking, calling, texting, and showing up across Southeast Harris County to make sure every Democrat here votes the entire ballot.
What we believe
Democrats fight for working families. On November 3rd, Southeast Harris County decides how hard.
Wages that keep up with rent. Healthcare a family can actually afford. Public schools that get funded instead of gutted. Neighborhoods that do not flood every time it rains. Courts that treat people the same on the way in and the way out. That is the Democratic ballot, top to bottom.
None of it is decided in Washington alone. It is decided by the offices most people leave blank, in an election most people sit out. Southeast Harris County has the votes. This year we are going to go get them.
The plan, in numbers
These are the numbers we measure ourselves against, and we publish them because a goal nobody can check on you is not a goal. Every shift moves one of them.
Ten thousand attempts to reach a Democrat in Southeast Harris County. Every text, dial, door, postcard, and table counts once. We report attempts because attempts are what we can actually count, and we would rather publish a number we can stand behind.
One hundred new Southeast Democrats members. Members come to meetings, take shifts, bring neighbors, and stay after the election is over. An email address is a start, not a member.
Organizing does not have an off season. Budgets, school boards, permits, and county decisions happen in the months nobody is watching. We plan to be there for all of them.
Our work
The work moves in one direction: people understand what is happening, they meet the neighbors doing something about it, and then they act.
What is happening, who is making the decision, why it matters, and what it changes on your block. Written for people who do not follow government for a living.
Relationships are the infrastructure. We build them with the people who are already holding this part of Houston together, and with the people about to start.
Information becomes action. We give people a concrete next thing to do, a date to put on the calendar, and a group to do it with, all pointed at November 3rd.

Meeting times are set. Venues are being confirmed and will be posted here and emailed to members before each date.
A long table, a cheap plate, and a stack of postcards. Two hours, no speeches, no experience required. Eat, write ten cards to neighbors in Southeast Harris County, talk to the person next to you, go home. Bring a friend and you have doubled the room.
We supply the cards, the addresses, the stamps, and a sample message. You supply the handwriting. Every card counts toward the 10,000.

Southeast Harris County deserves political attention between elections, not just during them. Southeast Democrats connects residents to the elections, the issues, the public institutions that make decisions here, and the work of participating in all of it. Right now every bit of that work points at one date: November 3rd, 2026.
We want people to know what is on the ballot, what those offices actually control, and how those decisions land on a specific block in this specific part of Harris County.
So we are building the infrastructure to stay present: volunteers, a real event calendar, digital tools, community partnerships, consistent outreach, and communication systems that keep people connected all year. That is slower than a campaign and it lasts longer.
This is a club that intends to become an institution.
